The original demo of this was much slower, but there was always a plan to turn this into the love letter to the sixties sounds I adore so much; it just had that plain groove laden rawness that made it ideal. Throw in some psychedelic touches and here we are! Throw in three of my musical friends, including my longtime friend and mentor, Marc Teamaker, working from the same pages and you have this ode to the world of social media. Like the human condition itself; so many wonderous things about it, but always there beneath,,,,
lyrics
Love, like, share it or rate it,
Hate and berate it, leave it or share,
It’s all the same to me.
Connect, tie, find and make friends, yeah
Break and create ends, making amends
For what you used to be.
Anyone to anywhere, in every form and everything
(Book of souls)
Expand, lie, describe and create it,
Fabricate it; bending and shaped
To what you want to see.
Cut, paste, edit and shape it,
Filter and fake it, wipe and erase;
The form you wish to be.
Anyone to anywhere, in every form and everything
(Book of souls)
Wipe the stain of all you feel inside.
Build the wall you hope to hide behind.
Guard the door and keep shut tight inside.
So much you’ve left outside to find.
Anyone to anywhere, in every form and everything
(Book of souls)
