about

There were several tracks from these sessions which were more acoustic based. Most of them wound up as the other tracks on the Back To Life EP, mostly because they fitted well together there rather than with the flow of the collection here (although you can hear snippets of Whispers running through the collection). This one, though, always spoke to me as a closer and was always destined for Gemma's voice rather than mine. She wasn't sure about tackling the mid section, but she did an amazing job with it. Craig added in some little etherial touches and the work was complete.

lyrics

The moon is high, the sun had to fall,
And you, my love, must answer its call and dream.
See the world anew.
In a silent hour; while the world is at rest,
In a circle of light, you my child are blessed.
It’s all in front of you.

And the world turns to see you through.
And the world turns because of you.
We’re both in a dream now.

Sail on young sailor,
Find a star and sail to her
Sail on young sailor,
Cast drift and find a star, guide to where you are and reach to her.

It’s all in your mind, it’s a vision so clear,
So open your hear I am here.

And the world turns to see you through.
And the world turns because of you.
We’re both in a dream now.

So close your eyes, and float on away.
You’re fathoms deep, so swim right away;
There’s nothing that you can’t be.
The stars in your eyes, and the sun in your heart,
It’s all in your hand so make the start and prove
There’s nothing that you can’t be.
